AlwaysSecond comment: I have known Shield Sights for more than 10 years. At that time, they were manufacturing a red dot sight for JP Enterprises. It was an excellent optic, but it had one weakness: if you treated it roughly and scratched the polymer lens, you were in trouble. The lens could not be replaced, and repair was rather complicated. Since then, Shield started producing models with a glass lens (Glass Edition), which eliminated this weakness. Shield offers a genuinely wide and interesting product range, and everyone looking for a high-quality, compact red dot can find the right one. In terms of quality, Shield is on the level of true top-class products – not “rebranded Chinese optics” that are often sold under weapon manufacturers’ private labels. Shield truly innovates and manufactures its products to a high standard. Personally, I like the OSMSc the most; thanks to its transparent top section, it provides much better intuitive awareness when aiming (there is no upper bridge obstructing the view). A very interesting design. I can almost hear someone in China already trying to copy it… but on a pistol you carry to potentially save your life, you want something you trust, knowing why you trust it. And that’s the thought of the day...
