AlwaysSecond comment: I used to import and distribute Lancer products years ago, and interestingly enough, nothing has changed since then. Back in the day, they were progressive as hell. Today, their website basically shows exactly what was there years ago. You might ask: why to care about a manufacturer that doesn't seem to care about R&D or progress? Because they put so much into it back then that there isn't much left to improve. They became the number two on the AR magazine market and number one in carbon fiber handguards for ARs. And... that hasn't significantly changed since then. They are still where they were: at the top in these two fields. They also had a third area that didn't quite "catch on" in the Czech Republic: complete AR-15 and AR-10 rifles. Their AR-10s shot absolutely great. They were stable, accurate, reliable... but at that time, nobody really wanted a semi-auto .308. And their AR-15s were a strange mix between a super-sport and a military rifle. That just didn't work. All of us who imported them sold them off with discounts and didn't bring them back. But they definitely weren't bad rifles, not at all Sir. Still... today everyone knows Lancer Systems as a manufacturer of magazines and carbon handguards.
