Overview and Intended Use
The Spuhr HPC30-30D is a set of separate rings with a cantilever front ring for a 30 mm scope tube with a centerline height of 30 mm. They attach to a Picatinny or Weaver rail.
The Interface version provides attachment points on both rings. A red dot sight or another compatible accessory can therefore be fitted directly to the mount rather than to an additional clamp on the scope tube.
Construction and Operation
Hunting Series mount bodies and rings are machined from 7075-T651 aluminum alloy. The ring top covers have diagonal splits that keep their screws farther away from the scope's adjustment turrets.
Both top covers feature the Spuhr Interface, whose paired tapered contact surfaces mechanically locate the attached accessory.
The front ring has an offset foot that positions the ring beyond its attachment point on the base; the rear ring is standard.
