EOTech makes world-famous red dots used by MilGovLE units around the world. Its riflescopes are much less well known because they have only been in the lineup for the last few years, but they have a good reputation. And because EOTech primarily listens to MilGovLE users (MILitary GOVernment Law Enforcement), it responded to their request by also producing aiming products. And ... I would not dissect this too much here. Those who know, know. Those who do not ... perhaps it is better that they do not.
In any event, it is a very nice little gadget for running "around the coal yard" ... and it deserves your attention.

Product Overview and Intended Use
The EOTECH OGL Commercial Power is a compact weapon-mounted laser and illumination module in tan. It combines a green visible aiming laser, IR aiming laser and adjustable IR illuminator for daylight, low-light and night-vision use.
Design and Operation
The machined aluminum housing mounts on the top rail and can be arranged for control from either side of the handguard. A sliding lever changes VCSEL IR illuminator divergence from spot to flood, while covers and the selector protect operating components.

Compatibility and Limitations
Requires a compatible top MIL-STD-1913 rail and suitable night-vision equipment to use the IR functions. Eye-safe classification does not make intentional eye exposure acceptable; follow laser-safety practices and applicable law.

Co-alignment simplifies zeroing, but verify the actual point of impact for both visible and IR lasers after any mounting change. Test IR functions only in a safe environment with suitable NV equipment.

AlwaysSecond comment: EOTech are TopClass red-dots and riflescopes, but I personally prefer mostly the red-dots, which are together with Aimpoint the world leading products. Although there were a technical complications a long time ago, there are no longer present since 2018 and EOTechs are working flawlessly. I really like them and use myself two XPS2-0, because I like a single red-dot. Its swift, reliable, and it allows me to reach my maximal results. As far as I have AR-15 in hand, equipped with EOTech with single dot, I can try my limits and do not have to question if "it is possible or not". 1 MOA dot and there will be things happening "for red-dot really unexpected" (that cant happen with reflex sights with parallax effect. And I WANT miracles to happen. Thats why I choose EOTech.)
