Intended Use and Application
Magpul MIAD GEN 1.1 TYPE 1 is a modular 25° pistol grip for AR15/M4. The kit includes three backstraps, two frontstraps and a lube-bottle core.
MIAD modular construction
Interchangeable straps alter the grip shape while the main body retains the standard mounting interface. The kit includes beavertail and non-beavertail options and accepts additional optional Magpul Storage Cores.

Compatibility and Configuration
TYPE 1 is primarily intended for AR15/M4. Magpul also lists many AR10 applications, but beavertail fit varies by receiver and may leave a cosmetic gap. Do not assume TYPE 1 and TYPE 2 are identical.
