This “metal conditioner”, which offers a lot in the field of firearms, is truly SUPER. Personally, I’m a BoreTechGuy and I fully stand behind Bore Tech – I would never put any “cheap Polish road salt” into my guns, which is currently spreading across the market only because it’s being pushed by aggressive marketing. Customers want high performance for little money (ideally for free). That’s not how it works. And even customers of that “Polish road salt in ham” will eventually find out ;) Metaltec-1 is one of those products that actually works, and I like it a lot. Beyond the videos that say quite a bit about this product, the real proof is hands-on experience – and I can strongly recommend it. This product works very well even after you wipe it off and feel like “it’s no longer there”. It still is, continuously lubricating, reducing friction and repelling moisture – and doing so very effectively. I genuinely enjoy using this product.
The manufacturer states that it can be used on all parts, including the barrel. Technically, that may be true, BUT: only Bore Tech belongs in the barrel! Knowing how Bore Tech performs in the bore, I would never use anything else there. Sorry. Let specialized products do their specialized job. Metaltec-1 for lubrication and metal conditioning – great; for the barrel – Bore Tech.
As for the price, some may think that the cost for 100 ml is high, but it really isn’t. Considering how little I use on selected surfaces, I feel like this small bottle will last me around 3 years. That comes out to roughly 10 CZK per month. So you’ll have lubrication for 3 years and the confidence that it’s truly professional-grade. For me, it’s a great deal. ;)
…only the label… that’s a disaster, I know. I’ll try to negotiate a better one with the manufacturer, because when a civilian picks this product up, it can be off-putting and they may quickly put it back on the shelf as if the bottle was burning their hand. Anyway, I hope I can convince them to improve it ;)

Application of Metaltec-1
For standard firearm maintenance, apply a thin layer to internal and external surfaces, including the barrel and mechanisms. After firing a sufficient number of rounds to warm up the firearm, Metaltec-1 can be wiped off with a dry cloth without losing its lubricating effect (dry lubrication effect). Leave a very thin layer on all metal parts for long-term protection. Metaltec-1 does not require removal before using the firearm.

From their broad portfolio I selected only two products that I believe are most suitable for firearms. One is a metal conditioner and the other is a plastic grease (also containing the metal conditioner). The initial impulse came when I saw the effects of the conditioner in practice, then I tested it on my rifle and my motorcycle and… it simply impressed me. The second impulse came from surprisingly positive reviews from the gunsmiths at the War-Zone shooting range, who praised it so enthusiastically that I simply had to try it myself. Since the manufacturer is based in the Czech Republic, I convinced them to allow me to brand these two products under neoPATRON. The idea was to bring interesting products to shooters from across the Czech lands… and at the same time create useful promotional items that every shooter can appreciate. As for practical use, PATRONshield grease works extremely well on highly stressed contact areas of the bolt carrier group and bolt in AR-15 rifles.
