Overview and Intended Use
The Spuhr SCT-6006D is a one-piece mount for a 36 mm scope tube with a centerline height of 34 mm. It attaches to the Sako TRG / Tikka T3/T3x dovetail.
The Interface version provides attachment points on both rings. A red dot sight or another compatible accessory can therefore be fitted directly to the mount rather than to an additional clamp on the scope tube.
Construction and Operation
Hunting Series mount bodies and rings are machined from 7075-T651 aluminum alloy. The ring top covers have diagonal splits that keep their screws farther away from the scope's adjustment turrets.
Both top covers feature the Spuhr Interface, whose paired tapered contact surfaces mechanically locate the attached accessory.
A side clamp secures the mount to the dovetail. The SCT differs from the Picatinny-compatible SCP and incorporates an adjustable recoil lug.
Compatibility and Limitations
According to the manufacturer, it fits the corresponding dovetail on the Tikka T3/T3x and Sako TRG 22/42. It is not designed for Picatinny rails or the Sako TRG-S.
