Timney AR PRO – Lightweight Two-Stage Competition Trigger
The Timney AR PRO was developed to the specifications of leading multi-gun competitors as a light, precise and durable trigger for a lifetime of competition. Its two-stage mechanism combines an 8 oz first stage with a 1.5 lb second stage.
The result is a 2 lb total pull with a clearly defined transition between trigger preparation and the final break. The design supports fast yet controlled operation in demanding dynamic-shooting conditions.
Exceptionally Light Two-Stage Operation
The first stage requires 8 oz, approximately 227 g. The second stage requires 1.5 lb, approximately 680 g. The combined pull is approximately 2 lb, or 907 g.
Drop-In Design for Competition Use
The mechanism is a self-contained 100% drop-in module. Timney specifies that no gunsmith fitting, user adjustment or anti-walk pins are required. The design is intended to withstand the demanding conditions of long-term competition use.
Compatibility
Compatible with Mil-Spec AR-15 and AR-10 lower receivers. Always verify the dimensions of the specific receiver and perform a complete trigger and safety function check after installation.
Practical Note from neoPATRON
A 2 lb total pull is firmly in competition territory. We recommend the AR PRO for experienced shooters who understand why they need such a light two-stage mechanism.
AlwaysSecond komentář: Timney Triggers triggers offere wide variety for various firearms. And that is their benefit, but also their distribution death. Their benefit from the client point of view: under Timney Triggers you can find virtually all triggers for your firearms, and that even in case your rifle is "piece of sh...t" like Tavor or something similar. And the cons: They have so wide offer that the dealer trying to offer their triggers on a market "so big" like a just born frog, ... has no chance. That is why this brand always had a problem with distribution in small countries. But if hero rises up and tries to run the distribution well, then their triggers are running reliably, and for your money you WILL RECEIVE WHAT YOU HAVE PAID, which might not be a TopTech, but in contrary to TopTech (like TriggerTech) you will get a TRIGGER THAT ALWAYS WORKS. So instead of tuned supersport (which must not be touched by your wife, otherwise you cut the hand) you have a rifle that must work "everywhere, everytime, any wheather" then you can set it up with Timney Triggers ... and you can be sure IT WILL FUNCTION 100% and with very reasonable comfort for the shooter. Me personally I like their Impact triggers for budget rifles; and for the rifles where you have the money at least for "half of banana" I like the AR-15 Competition triggers. Timney triggers I am not affraid to use even in neoPATRON Custom rifles, although my personal choice are Geissele triggers, which are again a level up. Why: We might talk about it next time...

What has made Timney Triggers a top pick of aftermarket triggers since "ever":
It is their vision and message that has been born in 1946, when Allen Timney had returned as war vet, back to USA and wanted to offer to any military weapon the trigger that would be reliable and would enable them to shoot more reliably and more accurately. Focus on quality, reliability, simple yet thoughtful design, and that all with deep quality control ... that is what sets Timney Triggers apart from competitors and amongst TopProducers in the world.
Timney Triggers are widely known by all users with at least basic knowledte in firearms. And that is not because it is the oldest producer of aftermarket triggers in the world, but ... and most probably mainly because ... that these triggers have their miracle embodied in their easy yet functional design. And that is why they are so popular all over the world.
Why to choose Timney Triggers:
- Reliability - every trigger gets tested before final packaging. And they do work. Great production controll is the key
- Functionality - these triggers very well combine the needs of users with technical solution. That they are not TopTech ...? May be not, but they DO WORK EVERYTIME and everywhere.
