Riflescope Nightforce NX6 3-18x50mm
Code: C737
Product detailed description
Key Benefits
- Durability built for hard use – Nightforce checks finished riflescopes for forward and side impact and tests recoil resistance in multiple axes at accelerations exceeding 1,250 G. The rugged construction helps preserve zero through hard handling and heavy recoil.
- Precise, repeatable tracking – Every riflescope is checked for tracking accuracy. The adjustments respond consistently, so the correction dialed matches the actual point-of-impact shift and the mechanism returns reliably to its starting value. Capped elevation and windage adjustments protect the established zero against unintended movement during carry and field use.
- A new design backed by years of development – NX6 is a new family, but not an unproven trend-driven product. Nightforce spent years developing and testing it, drawing on decades of experience supplying optics to military and special operations users.
- Quality glass in a precisely matched optical system – Nightforce multi-element objectives are carefully matched and centered to deliver high resolution, accurate color and a clean image with minimal distracting aberration. The difference becomes most useful in poor light and at higher magnification, when the shooter must resolve fine target detail and surrounding conditions.
- Durable broadband anti-reflective coatings – Every air-to-glass surface receives Nightforce proprietary broadband coatings. They improve light transmission and contrast, and their abrasion resistance exceeds demanding military requirements.
- MOAR reticle developed for real shooting – Provides a fine center and clear MOA references for precision at known distances. In the second focal plane the reticle remains visually fine, but its subtensions must be used at the specified calibration magnification.
- A lightweight hunting optic without unnecessary complexity – A clean SFP reticle, strong low-light image and capped FieldSet turret suit hunters who want dependable performance without monitoring exposed adjustments during carry.
Intended User and Application
NX6 3-18x50mm is a lightweight hunting optic for medium and longer ranges. A clean SFP reticle, strong low-light image and capped FieldSet turret suit hunters who want dependable performance without monitoring exposed adjustments during carry. This exact configuration uses the MOAR reticle, .250 MOA adjustments, capped elevation and windage adjustments and DigIllum, with a Black finish.
Image Quality and Optical System
Nightforce multi-element objectives are carefully matched and centered to deliver high resolution, accurate color and a clean image with minimal distracting aberration. The difference becomes most useful in poor light and at higher magnification, when the shooter must resolve fine target detail and surrounding conditions. Every air-to-glass surface receives Nightforce proprietary broadband coatings. They improve light transmission and contrast, and their abrasion resistance exceeds demanding military requirements.
Reticle, Focal Plane and Illumination
The MOAR reticle provides a fine center and clear MOA references for precision at known distances. Its second-focal-plane placement keeps the image visually fine, but angular values apply only at the specified calibration magnification. The illumination system improves aiming-point visibility, with intensity selected for ambient light.
Turrets and Mechanical Performance
Every riflescope is checked for tracking accuracy. The adjustments respond consistently, so the correction dialed matches the actual point-of-impact shift and the mechanism returns reliably to its starting value. Capped elevation and windage adjustments protect the established zero against unintended movement during carry and field use. The .250 MOA adjustment unit belongs to this coded version and must match both the ballistic data and the reticle units.

Mounting and Configuration Selection
Use quality rings or a one-piece mount sized for the 30 mm main tube. Select mount height around the objective housing, barrel profile, rail and a natural head position behind the rifle. With Nightforce, magnification range alone is not enough: the MOAR reticle, .250 MOA click value, turret type and focal plane materially change how the scope is used.
Practical Note from neoPATRON
The capped FieldSet turret protects the setting during carry and can be converted to an exposed format. Confirm the procedure in the manual before changing configuration.

AlwaysSecond comment: The market is full of rifle scopes and optics claiming to be the best, the brightest, the toughest, or to have the best repeatability, often trying to attract customers with the most impressive catalog specifications. Many of these brands experience their moment of “boom” and then eventually fall back to where they belong. You simply cannot mislead shooters forever. Competitive shooters are sharp observers, and sooner or later they notice that when you dial 43 clicks and the scope moves 46… something is wrong. If you push maximum brightness into the eye, it becomes dazzling and tiring rather than useful. And if the optic cannot hold zero, that is a serious problem. Nightforce Optics is a manufacturer that has been around since 1992, and their products have earned excellent reputation among both competitive shooters and military and tactical professionals. Their reputation is outstanding and I personally like their products very much. When a shooter owns quality rifles, they deserve quality optics. You wouldn’t put cheap Chinese tires on a BMW M2 ;) Despite all the “turbulent” or “revolutionary” shouting from competitors, Nightforce remains a benchmark of quality, durability and reliability. And I am glad that we can offer them to you at neoPATRON. My personal favorite is the ATACR 7-35x56 in MRAD with the Mil-XT reticle.

Nightforce Optics USA – the absolute benchmark of reliability and precision. Chosen by those who have no room for compromise
What has positioned Nightforce Optics among the most respected rifle scope manufacturers in the world?
It is their relentless focus on mechanical durability, optical quality and absolutely consistent tracking. Nightforce designs and tests its scopes to survive environments where most conventional optics fail: extreme calibers, heavy vibration, temperature shocks and long-term operational deployment. Most models are hand-assembled in the USA and Japan, and every unit undergoes brutal testing that simulates the conditions of real missions and professional competitions.
Nightforce is well known for functioning reliably even where competing optics have long since given up. High light transmission, excellent image clarity, precise mechanical operation and long service life — these are the reasons why elite snipers, special forces units and top competitive shooters around the world rely on Nightforce optics.
Why choose Nightforce rifle scopes:
- Legendary durability – Nightforce optics are among the toughest on the market. They withstand rough handling, heavy recoil and demanding operational use
- Precision tracking – mechanics that hold zero, do not drift and return to zero accurately, repeatedly and without compromise
- Top-tier optical quality – clean image, high contrast and reliable light transmission, especially valuable in poor lighting conditions
- Hand-assembled in the USA and Japan – not mass-produced budget optics. Most models are assembled by hand with individual inspection of every unit
- Trusted by professionals – used by military units, law enforcement and top shooters in disciplines such as PRS and ELR
- No compromises – Nightforce does not compete on low price or marketing tricks. They build optics to endure and to perform. Period.
